I recently completed this etched aluminum piece as a donation to the Health Center at Lincoln. I started out with a photo I took of the Candy Co. building and manipulated it in photo shop adding back into the frame the original neighboring building and giving the shot some false perspective and extra power lines. I then printed film, exposed the plate, developed and acid etched the aluminum plate. Before I stripped the resist I marred the surface, and then painted over the damage. Then etched it again. I finished it by painting some ferric chloride on to the finished plate then mounting it to an aluminum frame. Looks great let me know if you want one.
